Expect to see construction crews busy this weekend, all next week, and next weekend too on U.S. Route 422 between Royersford and Sanatoga, and on two side roads as well. Bridge and road work is under way.
After the Memorial Day holiday ends crews again will work on behalf of PennDOT, milling and repaving Route 29 between Lower Frederick and Green Lane. Drivers should expect delays.
Drivers can anticipate a daily westbound 422 right-lane closure in Limerick and Lower Pottsgrove next Tuesday through Friday, and a similar but continuous closure through the following weekend.
A portion of a westbound U.S. Route 422 lane in Upper Providence Township will be closed Friday, east of Royersford, so PennDOT crews can conduct road patching work between 8 a.m. and noon.

Traffic signals being installed at the intersection of Route 100 and Shoemaker Road in Pottstown will create weekday lane closures there for about two weeks, PennDOT reported Wednesday.
A lane closure and traffic control with flaggers is scheduled to begin Wednesday (Jan. 15) on North Pleasant View Road in Sanatoga, and continue weekdays only through mid-March, PennDOT said.
