PennDOT’s Repaving Work Persists on Route 29
KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Drivers will encounter lane restrictions Monday through Friday (today, May 18, to May 22, 2020) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily on Route 29 between Zieglerville Road in Lower Frederick Township and Third Street in Green Lane Borough for milling and paving operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s District 6 office in King of Prussia announced.
Travelers are advised to allow extra time when moving through the work area. Slowdowns will occur, PennDOT predicted. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather conditions.
The work is among several projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties, the state said. PennDOT is milling the existing highway surface and repaving it with new asphalt to seal the road and give drivers a smoother ride.
