Gala Planned for Region’s Young Professionals

POTTSTOWN PA – Persons age 40 or younger who are employed in Montgomery, Berks, or Chester counties, and who “demonstrate professional leadership and dedication to their profession, community, or organization,” are being sought by Pottstown-based Leadership Tri-County to be honored next February during its Tri-County Young Professional Awards Gala.

Nominations are being accepted now by the Lead Engage Young Professionals Tri-County program for its awards dinner to “recognize 20 outstanding young professionals in 2020,” it announced Thursday (Nov. 7 2019). The event is scheduled for Feb 20 (2020; Thursday) from 5-8 p.m. in Sunnybrook Ballroom, 50 Sunnybrook Rd.

“If you know an outstanding young professional – whether they are a coworker, employee, family member, or friend – who strives toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment, excels in their chosen field, and devotes time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, don’t miss the opportunity to nominate them to receive the recognition they deserve,” the announcement stated.

Anyone is welcome to make a nomination, it added, but self-nominations are not permitted. Nominations are being accepted online, here. Potential recipients must be able to attend the event. The deadline for nomination submissions is Dec. 15 (2019; Sunday). Award recipients will be notified Jan. 15.
