Turn Clock Back, Change Smoke Alarm Batteries

POTTSTOWN PA – Daylight saving time will end Sunday (Nov. 4, 2018) at 2 a.m. Pennsylvania residents should turn their clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

Firefighters encourage area residents to check or change the batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms at the same time. They add that smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms should be located near bedrooms and on each level of a residence, and replaced every 10 years.
