POTTSTOWN PA – Bryce Sillyman, a university adjunct faculty member with more than 20 years of experience in health care leadership roles, was named Tuesday (Sept. 4, 2018) by Tower Health as chief operating officer of Pottstown Hospital. He will work with hospital Chief Executive Officer Rich Newell on its executive team.
Sillyman – whose name, according to the hospital, is pronounced “Sil’man” – will help oversee its doctors, nurses, and other caregivers in care delivery. He also will work with internal department directors on refining hospital operations, performance, and strategy.
He is “a long-standing adjunct faculty member at Emory University in Atlanta GA, and Lipscomb University in Nashville TN, who specialized in organizational behavior, and health care finance and operations. Sillyman is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds a bachelor’s in business and a master’s in health care administration, both from the University of Missouri.
Sillyman also expects to be involved in Pottstown community activities. He previously was an active volunteer in professional, civic, and faith-based organizations. He and his family have relocated to the area.
