NorCo Police Arrest Two On Retail Theft ChargesNORTH COVENTRY PA – An 18-year-old Johnstown PA woman, accompanied by a 17-year-old juvenile female from Gilbertsville, both were arrested Monday (Aug. 6, 2018) on charges of retail theft at the Kohl’s department store in Coventry Mall, Route 724, the North Coventry Police Department reported on its website.

The woman, Destiny Makins (at right), and the juvenile, whose name was not released because of her age, allegedly were seen “selecting merchandise offered for sale by Kohl’s, removing (the items) from their packaging, and concealing them in their bags,” according to the police report. Both were processed, issued citations for retail theft, and released, it added.

Pleas are being awaited on the citations, being handled by Magisterial District Judge John A. Hipple, according to court docket sheets.
