Motorcycle Driver Sought For Mirror Damage

NORTH COVENTRY PA – A motorcyclist who was traveling Monday (June 11, 2018) at about 4:12 p.m. on U.S Route 422 East near South Hanover Street is said to have purposely damaged a car’s passenger-side mirror and is being sought by North Coventry police, according to the department’s website.

Police took the report from a female driver in the damaged car, who said the ‘cyclist passed her on the right side and “punched” the mirror, breaking its housing and shattering the glass. The motorcycle was described as an older model with black-and-tan colors; its driver, for whom no description was offered, exited at either South Keim Street or Route 724, the report added.

Officers are classifying the alleged crime as one of criminal mischief, or possible road rage.
