POTTSTOWN PA – Four more business days remain before the Monday (Feb. 19, 2018) deadline to submit the names of nominees for this year’s Tribute to Exceptional Women, sponsored by the Pottstown-based YWCA Tri-County Area. Nomination forms can be found online at the YWCA’s website, here.
Area residents are invited to nominate women for achievements in leadership, service, and their careers. Presentations will be made for the arts, business, education, health, racial justice, non-profits, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). The program also includes a special Rising Star Award for women between the ages of 18 and 30, the Coretta Scott King Award for an agent of change, and the Sally Lee Lifetime Achievement Award.
Tickets for the event are available now for purchase. The evening’s program includes cocktails and a popular silent auction, the tribute dinner, and presentation of awards.
The 23rd annual Tribute to Exceptional Women will be held March 29 (Thursday) at River Crest Golf Club and Preserve in Phoenixville. The event recognizes women for their ability to lead by example, embrace community responsibility, and excel in their careers. Marjorie Margolies will be its keynote speaker.
