NORTH COVENTRY PA – A hit-and-run crash that occurred Thursday (Dec. 21, 2017) at about 5 p.m. on southbound Route 100 at its intersection with Temple Road has North Coventry police searching for the driver who fled the scene.
Investigating officers allege that “a gold, 2013 Toyota Highlander was struck from behind by a two-tone blue and black, older model, full size Chevrolet pick-up truck with a push bumper mounted to its front,” they reported from the department website. “The striking vehicle was operated by a white male in his 40s, with dark hair, and a goatee,” police added.
The fleeing pick-up was last seen continuing to travel south on 100 after the crash. The report did not indicate if anyone was injured, or how badly the Highlander was damaged.
Anyone with information that could lead to the pick-up or the driver or owner is asked to call North Coventry police at 610-323-8360.
