Work Closing Portion of Route 663 For Two Days

NEW HANOVER PA – Drivers on a portion of Route 663 in New and Upper Hanover townships will end up being detoured Tuesday and Wednesday during construction there, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

PennDOT’s District 6 office in King of Prussia said 663 between Kutztown Road and Route 73 would be closed Tuesday and Wednesday (Dec. 12-13, 2017) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, so its crews could perform maintenance operations.

During the closures, drivers will be detoured over Route 100, Route 73, and Kutztown Road, it added. They are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas; slowdowns will occur during construction, it added. All scheduled activities depend on the weather.
