North Coventry Police Arrest Follows Disturbance

NORTH COVENTRY PA – A 20-year-old Pottstown man was arrested Friday (Dec. 8, 2017) by North Coventry Township Police on four charges following the report of a domestic disturbance.

George A. Plant faces single counts of simple assault, harassment and stalking, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, according to a Chester County magisterial district court docket sheet. He has already been arraigned before Judge Gregory V. Hines, and is scheduled for a Jan. 8 (2018; Monday) preliminary hearing.

The police department, on its website, said officers responded Thursday at about 7 p.m. to the disturbance report at a property on the 1300 block of South Keim Street. After an investigation, Plant was taken into custody without incident at his home. Details of the alleged assault were not made available.

Unsecured bail was set at $5,000. Plant was released after providing bond, the docket sheet indicated.
