GILBERTSVILLE PA – This year’s edition of the annual Toys for Tots Program operated by the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve is already under way across portions of western Montgomery County, with many collection boxes and barrels scheduled to be distributed Wednesday and Thursday (Nov. 1-2, 2017), according to coordinators Bob Lohr and Howard Quinn.
Between now and mid-December, the campaign will accept and actively solicit public donations of new, unwrapped toys to offer as Christmas gifts to children of families in need in Bally, Barto, Collegeville, Gilbertsville, East Greenville, Green Lane, New Hanover, Pennsburg, Red Hill, Schwenksville, Skippack, Upper Frederick, Trappe, and elsewhere in western Montgomery County.
All toys and money collected from within local communities are returned there, coordinators noted.
Donations to any Toys For Tots box or barrel can be made though the second week of December. Monetary donations can be made online, here.
