Students’ Lasagna Dinner Helps Raise Scholarship Funds

POTTSTOWN PA – Student leaders at Montgomery County Community College’s Pottstown campus will host their 12th annual lasagna dinner to benefit the campus scholarship fund Feb. 20 (2013; Wednesday) from 6-7 p.m. in the South Hall community room, 101 College Drive. Take-out meals will be available from 3-5:45 p.m.

Students' Lasagna Dinner Helps Raise Scholarship FundsThe dinner includes a choice of meat or vegetable lasagna, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for children age 10 years and younger, and $7 for MCCC students with valid school identification cards.

During the dinner hour, starting at 6 p.m., theater student Ryland Beck will provide a sneak preview of his new play.

All proceeds from the dinner will benefit the scholarship awarded each year to a Pottstown campus student who is engaged in community service and is in good academic standing. Representatives from the college foundation will be on hand to answer questions about this and other scholarship opportunities.
