The six participants, all of them Pottstown residents, have worked four months in 16 workshops to learn the financial, time management and other skills necessary to help themselves grow into better lives, according to the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities.

First Niagara Offers Grant For Cluster’s New Initiative

The bank, which operates several branch offices across western Montgomery County, made a $25,000 contribution to help the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities expand its “Getting Ahead Initiative” for area residents living in poverty.
