Scary, Shots-Filled Drama Unfolds On Pottstown’s Streets

A tense, day-long gun drama Thursday between law enforcers and a lone gunman at a Logan Steet, Pottstown, apartment ended in the evening darkness with the wounded suspect in custody and hospitalized. None of the officers and first responders, and no other members of the public, were injured.

Shots Fired; Pottstown Police Arrest Robbery Suspect

With 3 photos. Pottstown police shot an alleged armed robber Saturday morning at the Turkey Hill convenience store on North Charlotte Street in the borough, then later found and arrested him after he fled and hid inside a church.

Two 422 Crashes Snarl Traffic On Pottstown East End

A motorcyclist said to be traveling at speeds exceeding 100 miles an hour crashed Sunday into a guard rail on U.S. Route 422 near Sanatoga. That was followed by a second crash of three vehicles trying to avoid the first incident.
