UPPER POTTSGROVE PA – Township Police Department officers, Gilbertsville Fire and Rescue volunteers, Goodwill Ambulance, and two tow trucks were called Thursday (March 12, 2020) at 10:56 a.m. by Montgomery County emergency dispatchers to what initially was reported as a multi-vehicle accident with injuries on the southbound entrance ramp to Route 100 at Farmington Avenue.
However, those arriving on-scene determined none of the parties involved had been hurt, and some equipment and crews that had been enroute were turned back.
No cause of the accident, apparently involving two vehicles, was immediately available. It’s unknown if any of those involved were issued citations. Fire police directed traffic away from the ramp during the police investigation; it was re-opened about a half-hour later.
