Alleged Luncheon Thief Strikes Again at Wawa

RETAIL THEFT ALLEGED – North Coventry Township police are asking for public help in identifying a man (at top) who they allege has stolen several items from the Wawa convenience store, 260 W. Schuylkill Rd., North Coventry, during the past week, and most recently on Sunday (Jan. 19). The department’s CrimeWatch website claims the “male came into the store and ordered a sandwich” Sunday at about 2 p.m., and paid for it, but while leaving the store also “grabbed a bag of chips and a banana” and left without paying for them. Store representatives told police the same man “has done this several times over the past week,” according to the web report. He has been “seen getting into a dark blue BMW sedan,” officers noted. Anyone who knows the male’s identity is asked to call North Coventry Township Police at 610-323-8360, or anonymously submit a tip on its website, here.
