SANATOGA PA – Traffic on North Pleasant View Road between East High Street and Buchert Road in Lower Pottsgrove, which is usually heavy during morning and afternoon hours with school buses and commuters, will encounter lane closures and crews with flags directing vehicles beginning Wednesday (Jan. 15, 2020) and continuing weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through mid-March, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.
The restrictions will be in place so PECO Energy can conduct utility construction work, the agency gave advance notice Thursday (Jan. 9).
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas, because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather conditions.
Similar construction activity will also find PECO restricting traffic Monday through Friday (Jan. 13-17) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, according to PennDOT, in:
- Upper Providence Township, with a lane closure scheduled on Route 29 at Perkiomen Boulevard; and
- Worcester Township, with a lane closure scheduled on Route 73 between Berks Road and Old Orchard Road.
