POTTSTOWN PA – Residents of Lower Pottsgrove, Limerick, Perkiomen, Pottstown, Royersford, and Trappe, most of whom are politically represented in the state House’s 146th Legislative District by Rep. Joe Ciresi, can join him in a “telephone town hall” scheduled for Wednesday (July 17, 2019) at 7 p.m. on their home or cell phones. “To participate,” Ciresi said, “all you have to do is stay on the line!”
Technology makes this feat possible. State entities already have your home phone number on file. Computers will make automated calls to district homes, Ciresi explained, and recipients can choose to pick up or hang up. You can also have the system call your cell phone, but it must be registered in advance online, here.
“You can join the discussion or just listen as we talk about issues of importance to our community, such as transportation and education. There will be opportunities to ask questions, or you can leave feedback when the call is over,” he added. You can even submit questions in advance via an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Got questions about the process, or anything else? Call Ciresi’s local office in Royersford at 484-200-8265.
