COMING MAY 11 TO BIRDSBORO – A group of trained re-enactors will demonstrate life as militia members during the French and Indian War in a series of May 11 (2019; Saturday) demonstrations scheduled to occur between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at historic Daniel Boone Homestead, 400 Daniel Boone Road, Birdsboro PA. Visitors will learn about uniforms and weapons, 18th-century warfare, and camp life during the Seven-Years’ War. They also can meet with an 18th-century trapper, and witness sparks flying at the blacksmith shop. The special activities are included with the price of regular daily admission to the homestead: $7 for adults, and $4 per child ages 5-15. For more information call 610-582-4900.
