Bank Donation Promotes Student Art Expressions

Expressive Path student artists, and representatives of the non-profit and its benefactor, Ambler Savings Bank, gathered to celebrate new funding

BALLY PA – Ambler Savings Bank, which operates branch offices in Bally, Limerick, and Schwenksville, has donated $15,000 to the non-profit organization Expressive Path so it can provide free creative arts workshops to teens between the ages of 12 and 19 at selected western Montgomery County local schools, centers, and shelters.

The bank said its gift was made through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program.

Expressive Path said it creates opportunities for students to showcase their talents in the community through performance and art exhibitions. It provides workshops for local non-profits such as ACLAMO and the Lincoln Center for Family and Youth, as well as in Norristown area schools. During 2018 it worked with about 500 students, it said.

Ambler Savings is a mutually organized community bank headquartered in Ambler PA.
