POTTSTOWN PA – A female suspect whose identity had not been confirmed as of Thursday afternoon (March 21, 2019) is being sought by Pottstown police for the alleged stabbing of a 33-year-old borough man who arrived at Pottstown Hospital suffering from multiple wounds to the upper body.
The victim, Jorge Flores, was said to be listed in stable condition, after being initially treated in Pottstown and then flown to an area trauma unit.
Police in a media statement said they responded to the hospital’s call Wednesday (March 20, 2019) at 10:30 p.m. for a report of a stabbing victim seeking treatment, and located Flores. The department’s investigation so far indicates the stabbing occurred about 45 minutes earlier the same night in an area outside 421 E. High St. A site near that address was identified as a potential crime scene and processed for evidence.
Having reviewed available video surveillance footage, police alleged the female suspect being sought is one of several women that were walking as a group. They did not say what other members of the group did before, during, or after the incident.
Anyone with information about the incident or individuals involved is asked to call the department at 610-970-6570.
