The Pottsgrove, Pottstown, and Boyertown Area school districts all are operating today (Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019) on a two-hour delay, they announced on their respective websites, in anticipation of potentially difficult travel conditions throughout their busing areas.
Buses will depart later for student pick-ups. Depending on the district, some class start times (particularly for kindergarten) and breakfast availability may be affected.
- In Pottstown, the “Rupert Walking School Bus” is canceled.
- In Boyertown, today will be a regular dismissal day. The district also announced that Feb. 18 (Monday; the Presidents’ Day federal holiday) would be used as a school day as a result of schools closing during Tuesday’s (Feb. 12) winter storm; students should plan to attend.
