Fund-Raiser Benefits Family Services Programs

SANATOGA PA – Family Services of Montgomery County, the local non-profit organization that operates its Meals-On-Wheels program from offices at 1976 E. High St., will benefit from a February “love”-themed pet photo contest being conducted as a fund-raiser by the Montgomery County Association of REALTORS (MCAR), the groups announced Wednesday (Feb. 6, 2019).

The association’s first “I Love My Pet” photo contest is open for submissions through Feb. 21 (Thursday) at 5 p.m. Photos can be posted online, here, at a cost of $20 per entry. Winners of selected $100 gift cards will be randomly chosen in five separate categories: Best Dressed, Cutest, Silliest, Ugliest, and Unique.

Pet lovers can help the owners’ entries by voting for photos in any category, at a cost of $5 per vote. The photo with the highest total number of votes will be named “Best In Show” and receive a $250 gift card. Voting is open now through Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.

MCAR has a long-standing tradition of giving back to the community where its members live and work, he noted. Over the years, MCAR has donated thousands of dollars and time to non-profits.
