LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – A traffic accident that occurred in adjacent New Hanover Township, during which Lower Pottsgrove police said a truck “pulled down” overhead wires, caused a portion of North Sanatoga Road to be closed Wednesday (Jan. 23, 2019) beginning at about 4 p.m. so repairs could be made, according to the police department’s CrimeWatch website.
The announcement offered little detail about the mishap, which was said to have happened earlier Wednesday and assumedly was investigated by New Hanover police. Lower Pottsgrove’s report noted North Sanatoga as a result would be closed for “several hours” between Pruss Hill and Cross roads for the repair work.
Drivers were advised during the closure period to use “alternate routes” if heading north of Pruss Hill.
