NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTEES – Sixteen Pottstown High School students were inducted into its National Honor Society chapter during a recent ceremony that celebrated not only their excellent grades but also their “stellar accomplishments in the areas of leadership, character, and service,” Principal Danielle McCoy said. The newly inducted (above, with McCoy at left) are Kishan Patel, Naomi Parson, CyeNyla Hall, Hannah Wilson, Julianna Figueroa, Adriana Araujo, Austin Spence, and Dylan Murphy, 10th grade; Cheyanne Cwynar, KaWanza Barksdale Hodges, Paige Jones, and Alexis White, 11th grade; and Maryam Belgrave, Emily Hart, Reilly Owens and Sabrina Lias, 12th grade. Inductee sponsor Jennifer Mohr said she looked “forward to working with them in the coming years to positively impact our students, district, and community.” To be considered for membership, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 93 percent or higher, and complete a personal data sheet that describes their participation in the society’s four pillars of conduct.
