NORTH COVENTRY PA – Two vehicles crashed, and one was flipped on its roof, during a Wednesday (Oct. 31, 2018) accident that occurred at about 10 a.m. at the intersection of Route 100 and Cedarville Road, North Coventry police said on their website. Both drivers were “evaluated by Goodwill Ambulance,” and “no injuries were reported at the time,” according to investigators.
One driver, Tammy Ferguson of Douglassville, was cited for failure to obey traffic-control signals, according to the report.
Police stated that Ferguson’s vehicle, a gray-colored four-door Toyota van, was traveling east on West Cedarville Road toward 100 when it “failed to stop for the red traffic light at the intersection.” As it entered the intersection, it was “struck on the driver’s side door” by the front of a truck driven by Joseph Anthony of Reading.
The impact caused the van to overturn. “Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene,” investigators said.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Norco Fire Company, Norco Fire Police, and Goodwill Ambulance.
