Pair Allegedly ‘Selected,’ Then Left, With Tools

NORTH COVENTRY PA – A brazen pair of white male suspects apparently knew what they wanted in new tools, and allegedly by-passed cash registers to walk out with them late Wednesday (Oct. 24, 2018) night from the Lowe’s Home Improvement store, 1136 Town Square Rd. The merchandise was valued at more than $1,000, according to a website report from the North Coventry Police Department.

The two men whose images were captured in surveillance video footage (above) – one seemingly dressed in a red jacket with black slacks and white footwear; the other, all in black with a hood, and white footwear – strolled into the store “at about 9:15 p.m. through the contractor entrance,” the department stated in its report posted Friday (Oct. 26).

Then, it added, “they selected different tools from (a) display and left the store without paying for the items.”

Police hope someone has information about the theft. They are asked to call the department at 610-323-8360.
