FIRE DEEMED ACCIDENTAL – A house fire (above and below) that broke out Sunday (Oct. 21, 2018) at 12:52 p.m. at 1389 Evans Rd., North Coventry, was deemed to have started due to accidental causes, the township police department reported on its website. Police officers, the NorCo Fire Company, and several other fire companies that responded to mutual aid calls all converged on the scene and extinguished the blaze. Among those assisting were firefighters from Linfield (bottom); their Tanker 51 helped supply water, while Squad 51 was stationed at the tanker fill site, and Traffic 51 assisted in traffic control. No one was reported injured, and the home was unoccupied at the time. Police said they, the township fire marshal, and the Chester County Fire Marshal’s Office all were involved in the on-scene fire investigation.
