POTTSTOWN PA – As 2017 ends on the Pottstown, Blue Bell, and Lansdale campuses of Montgomery County Community College, it is finishing the year with top rankings accorded by five news and college ranking organizations: Washington Monthly, Schools.com, Universities.com, Great Value Colleges, and Affordable Colleges.
Washington Monthly’s 2017 College Guide and Rankings ranked MCCC 15th among the best two-year colleges in the nation for adult learners (students ages 25 and older). It also is among the top of the list in Pennsylvania, earning maximum points for ease of transfer, flexibility of programs, and services for adult students.
Schools.com named MCCC as third-best community college in Pennsylvania, among the Commonwealth’s 14 community colleges.
Regionally, according to Universities.com, MCCC is listed as 5th-best college in Philadelphia among colleges that offer information technology degrees.
MCCC also was recognized in Great Value College’s top 10 list for its online associate degree program in computer science.
Finally, MCCC made Affordable Colleges’ list for the top 25 schools that offer affordable online associate degrees in business management. According to its website, Affordable Colleges includes MCCC among the accredited schools that offers an “excellent blend of low tuition and positive graduation outcomes for students.”
The college’s comprehensive curriculum offers more than 100 associate degree and certificate programs, as well as customized workforce training and certifications. Students enjoy the flexibility of learning at its campuses and online.
