Pottstown Performers Join In The OJR Cavalcade

POTTSTOWN HIGH JOINS IN OJR CAVALCADE – Members of the Pottstown High School Marching Band (at top), under the direction of Michael Vought, participated Saturday (Oct. 7, 2017) in the 47th annual Cavalcade of Bands at Owen J. Roberts High School’s Wildcat Stadium, 901 Ridge Rd., Pottstown. Pottstown schools’ Director of Community Relations John Armato said the more than 120-member band “presented a terrific performance” among the show’s 10 competitors, and then joined with other schools with the Kutztown University Marching Band for a presentation of “Shut Up and Dance.” Vought said “events like this give our students a opportunity to showcase their talents, and to enjoy the performances of other schools. Performing music is a great way to develop the self disciple that will lead to future success.” See video of a portion of Pottstown’s performance, here.
