Pottstown Stadium Lights Blazing In Test Run

A BLAZE OF GLORY – New LED lights being installed at Pottstown High School’s Grigg Memorial Field Stadium have passed an initial test run: they work, school district spokesman John J. Armato happily exclaimed Wednesday (Aug. 23, 2017). There’s “more work to do with controls and sound system,” he added, but said he “can not wait for the first night pictures.” The district will formally thank those who donated funds to make the three-year, $300,000 project possible with a “return of the lights ceremony.” It’s scheduled for Sept. 8 (Friday) at 6:30 p.m., before the Trojans football team’s home opener.
