Police Cruisers And Cookies Go Well Together

SURE, THEY’RE SMILING; THEY HAD COOKIES! – Officers of the Douglass Township (Montgomery) Police Department were greeted Wednesday (Aug. 9, 2017) by young friends bearing gifts. Children who are members of New Hanover United Methodist Church stopped by with a tray of cookies for the police to thank them for their continued service. A sugary good time was had by all. Officers certainly appreciated the gesture, and proclaimed their appreciation on the department Facebook page. The kids got to explore the intricacies of a patrol car, and lined up for a picture to commemorate the occasion.
