POTTSTOWN PA – Two companies that sell and service new and used hearses and limousines propose to open a business location at 405 Keystone Blvd., and on Oct. 16 (2013; Wednesday) at 7 p.m. will ask the Pottstown Borough Zoning Hearing Board for a variance to occupy the site.
Seeking permission for a sales lot, a shop for automotive body repairs, an administrative office and warehouse are Lankford Acquisitions Company LP and Heritage Coach Company Inc., according to a legal advertisement published Monday (Sept. 30) for the board. The property is within a flex office zoning district.
The board hearing on the matter will be held in the council meeting room on the third floor of Borough Hall, 100 High St. Its meeting is open to the public. The content of the legal notice appears below:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pottstown Borough Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a hearing on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Pottstown Borough Hall, 100 E. High Street, Pottstown, Pennsylvania upon the Appeal of Lankford Acquisitions Company, LP and Heritage Coach Company, Inc. Appellants request a variance to Chapter 27, Section 336.2 of the Pottstown Borough Zoning Ordinance to use the subject property situate at 405 Keystone Boulevard, Pottstown, Pennsylvania for sales and service of new and used vehicles, primarily hearses and limousines, and body shop repairs. Additional proposed uses include an administrative office and warehouse. The subject property is situate in the Flex Office Zoning District of the Borough of Pottstown.
Copies of the Application may be examined by the public at the Pottstown Borough Code Enforcement Department, Pottstown Borough Hall, 100 E. High Street, 2nd Floor, Pottstown, Pennsylvania during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. At the time of the hearing, any affected persons or parties will be given an opportunity to be heard. Any party may be represented by legal counsel at the hearing. The Board reserves the right to conduct any other business that may come before it.
