POTTSTOWN PA – A program to promote awareness and prevention of sexual assault will be held Wednesday (March 13, 2013) from 12:30-2 p.m. in the community room of South Hall on the Pottstown campus of Montgomery County Community College, 101 College Dr. The program is free and open to the public.
It includes a screening of “Speak Out and Stand Up,” a 25-minute video hosted by “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart on the serious topic of sexual assault. The video was produced by Security on Campus.
Also on the agenda is a discussion panel of professionals and advocates from law enforcement, probation, parole, health and victim service organizations, as well as the college’s Student Support and Referral Team.
