POTTSTOWN PA – The co-founder of a 28-year-old Montgomery County reggae, country and blues band, The Mighty Manatees, says these days he’s still excited about making good music, but even more interested in ensuring “people get connected to my songs as a gateway to connect to themselves and to life.”
“My number one focus is that people are, first and foremost, inspired and uplifted,” says Ray Adkins, the Pottstown PA guitarist and songwriter who helped launch the group during October 1985. An interview with Adkins about his life to date as a performer was featured Saturday (March 2, 2013) at the Tumblr blog of Ifodige Productions Inc.
During his career, Adkins and The Mighty Manatees opened concerts for groups such as The Spin Doctors and America, and are said to have once played a private party for U2. The Ifodige interview focuses on his goals in producing and marketing music. Ifodige is an entertainment production company created in June 2009 in Los Angeles CA.
