POTTSTOWN PA – The first “Spring Forward” 5-K fund-raising run to benefit the century-old St. Aloysius School, 220 N. Hanover St., will be held April 6 (2013; Saturday) at Pottstown’s Riverfront Park on College Drive.
Run participants will take “an active part in helping to support the programs and activities that benefit our students,” the school announced Saturday (Feb. 23) from its Facebook page.
In addition to the 5-K run and walk, which starts at 9 a.m., a 1-mile run and walk for children will be held at 8:45 a.m.
Those who register in advance, before March 15, pay only $20 per person; after the early deadline, the price rises to $25. Teams of four can register for $60. Fun run participants register for $10. Registration is available online, now. For more information, call the school at 610-326-6167.
