POTTSTOWN PA – “Songs From The Heart” won’t be sung Saturday (Feb. 16, 2013), as organizers at Pottstown’s Steel River Playhouse, 245 High St., had hoped.
The cabaret-style presentation by three-member group Lyric Fest of Philadelphia was scheduled as a Valentine’s program, but playhouse Marketing Director Warren Levy reported Thursday afternoon (Feb. 14) that “a facility equipment problem” will require it to cancel the one-day-only weekend performance. A new date will be announced “as soon as it can be scheduled,” he added.
However, “we’re making repairs rapidly, so the problem will NOT affect future performances or productions … Rehearsals, classes and lessons also are NOT affected,” Levy wrote.
Ticket purchases for “Songs From The Heart” are being refunded, he said.
