Skate Cancer Into A Deep Freeze Saturday At Hill SchoolPOTTSTOWN PA – The Hill School will host its sixth annual “Skate Against Cancer” event Saturday (Feb. 9, 2013) from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at Thomas Eccleston Jr. Rink and Edward Tuck Hall Arena on its Beech Street campus.

It raises money for the American Cancer Society’s Pottstown Area Relay for Life, and is open to the public. Admission costs $3; skate rentals are $2. All skaters must wear knit hats or helmets at all times when on the ice.

The event also features raffles, sales of t-shirts decorated with original designs by Hill students, and refreshments. Raffle prizes include an iPod and autographed Philadelphia Flyers goods.

Hill School students Mackenzie LeClair ’14 of Haverford, Scott McKean of Chester Springs, and Sydney Munro ’14 of Phoenixville organized the fund-raiser.
