Pottstown College Painters Craft A Lasting Message

Pottstown College Volunteer Painters Craft Lasting Message

FROM HARD WORK COMES BEAUTIFUL ART – Volunteers from Montgomery County Community College worked last Monday (Jan. 21, 2013) with the Olivet Boys and Girls Club in the Ricketts Community Center, Beech Street, Pottstown PA, to create this inspiring, hand-painted mural on one of its interior walls. The effort was part of several Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service events held across western Montgomery County. The depiction of sun breaking through clouds, a rainbow, and sprouting flowers surrounds the club’s mission statement: “To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as healthy, productive, caring, responsible citizens.”
