POTTSTOWN PA – Tri-County Hoops A.A.U. – which provides basketball opportunities to boys and girls teams, private and group basketball instruction, winter and summer pick-up basketball games, and instructional basketball classes for elementary school students – is currently in search of coaches for players and coaches, Coach Phil Haddad said Saturday (Dec. 15, 2012).
All coaches must have coaching experience and must complete Act 151 and Act 34 checks done before they will be allowed to coach. The organization also is looking for players for both boys and girls 9-and-under through 18-and-under teams for the 2013 season. Tri-County has been affiliated with the Amateur Athletic Union for three years, and formerly was known as Boyertown Summerhoops. It was founded in 2003.
The group serves the western Montgomery, northern Chester, and eastern Berks counties area.
Inquiries for coaching or playing for the Tri-County Hoops AAU Bobcats should be directed to Haddad or Coach Ken Russo by e-mail, here.
