Chestnut Knoll in Boyertown

BOYERTOWN PA – “Living with End-Stage Alzheimer’s,” a seminar that provides practical information and resources to family care-givers of patients with Alzheimer’s Disease, is scheduled to be presented Nov. 10 (2012; Saturday) from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chestnut Knoll residential and memory care facility, 120 W. 5th St. The event is open to the public, but seating is limited and advance reservations are required.

Presenters will cover Alzheimer’s-related behavioral and relationship changes, home safety, medication management, and home care services. The day includes lunch provided by Chestnut Knoll. On-site care for loved ones will be available, but also with advance notice.
