POTTSTOWN PA – Shin Jae Jun, 31, got a message Monday (Oct. 29, 2012) that almost any employee would love to hear from a boss: “It’s dangerous outside with Hurricane Sandy. Safety first. Don’t come into the office if you don’t want to.”
Her problem: the Pottstown resident was already on her way into work when she got the good word. So she turned around and headed north again on Route 100 toward home. That’s when the weather – Sandy’s driving rain and gusting winds – started to pick up, making the commute even longer.
- Watch her dashboard video (above) and hear her talk about the drive, or see it at the shinjaejun YouTube channel, here.
