POTTSTOWN PA – The “Love Can Build A Bridge Gala,” a fund-raising event to assist mothers in addiction, will be held Nov. 3 (2012; Saturday) beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Quality Inn, 61 W. King St.

The gala, sponsored by Harris Family Ministries of Pottstown, will raise money to help create a faith-based facility for mothers in addiction during the second phase of their recovery, and their children. Mothers will participate in parenting classes, and their children will receive counseling.
Former professional baseball player Andre Thornton, a Phoenxville baseball standout who joined the Cleveland Indians, is scheduled as its keynote speaker. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Smith Family of Philadelphia, and Gloria Echols of Sanatoga.
