Board Considers Changes To Roads Near Upland SquarePOTTSTOWN PA – A proposal being considered by the Upper Pottsgrove Township Board of Commissioners would create future changes to portions of North State Street and Upland Square Drive, and open a new access route to properties near the drive and Route 100.

A pubic hearing on the plan, with the potential of board action to immediately follow, will be held next Monday (Oct. 15, 2012) at 7:30 p.m. during the commissioners’ meeting in the municipal building, 1409 Farmington Ave. A legal advertisement announcing the hearing was published Friday (Oct. 5). The text of the notice follows:

LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Upper Pottsgrove Township Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 15, 2012, at 7:30 p.m., during the course of its regular Board of Commissioner meeting, to begin at 7:00 p.m., at the Upper Pottsgrove Township Municipal Building, 1409 Farmington Avenue, Upper Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, to consider vacating 36,714 square feet of N. Access to properties south of the proposed cul-de-sac would be achieved through private drive to be constructed from Upland Square Drive.
