BEER PLUS GREAT WEATHER EQUALS FUN TIME – They were dancing in the streets, literally, Saturday (Sept. 15, 2012) during the 5th annual Oktoberfest in Boyertown, according to the borough’s Building A Better Boyertown organization. “The weather was perfect” for the celebration of German heritage, “the crowd was large, the German music was blasting, the entertainment was great, and the beer was cold,” it crowed on its Facebook page. Crafters did a brisk business, beginning at 11 a.m., and the mayor tapped the first keg at noon. As usual, custom-made mugs (right) were available to hold all that liquid gold. Organizers thanked visitors, the community, and its sponsors for their support.
