HARD AT WORK, LEARNING RESCUE TECHNIQUES – Members of Upper Pottsgrove Township Fire Company No. 1 and the Gilbertsville Fire and Rescue Company spent several hours Thursday (Aug. 30, 2012) behind the Gilbertsville PA fire house, jointly perfecting rescue techniques from public vehicles like a small passenger bus. The crews worked with the Jaws of Life and other tools to understand the fastest and safest ways to get into the bus and get its occupants out.
