PLYMOUTH MEETING PA – A second annual open house conducted by the Montgomery County Suicide Prevention Work Group will focus on mental health wellness and suicide prevention when it provides the public with information on both Sept. 11 (2012; Tuesday) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.at The Church on the Mall, Plymouth Meeting Mall, 500 W. Germantown Pike.
The Student Support and Referral Team of Montgomery County Community College is among groups supporting and promoting the open house. College Adviser Michael Ondo, based at its West Campus in Pottstown, reports that representatives from community agencies, behavioral health providers, advocacy groups and the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs will participate.
Their information will cover topics such as recovery, resilience, support, depression, mental illness, crisis intervention and suicide prevention, Ondo said.
