Pottstown Borough Hall
POTTSTOWN PA – Pottstown’s Borough Council representative for the Sixth Ward, Jody L. Rhoads, has tendered his resignation from that position in a “two-sentence e-mail to Borough Hall,” the Roy’s Rants blog covering Pottstown events reported Monday afternoon (June 4, 2012). The headline on the post, written by blog owner Roy Keeler, said the resignation would take effect immediately.
Rhoads, of South Roland Street, won re-election as councilman last November to a four-year term. His reported resignation closely follows an announcement only weeks ago by Borough Manager Jason Bobst that he would soon leave that job to become manager of West Norriton Township.
