Franklin Elementary Students Join In World Autism Day

PROMOTING AWARENESS OF AUTISM – Students and staff members at the Pottstown School District’s Franklin Elementary School participated Monday (April 2, 2012) in marking World Autism Awareness Day, the fifth annual observance by autism organizations worldwide to demonstrate how lives are affected by complex disorders of brain development. Participants at the school were asked to wear blue clothing to support the “Light It Up Blue” campaign of Autism Speaks, an autism science and advocacy organization.
